Energy Recovery Ventilators

Total Recovery for All Climates

To protect the two most valuable investments of your life, your home, and your family, improving indoor air quality is key. With S&P's TR Series for all climates, stale room air is exhausted, and the fresh outdoor air is brought back into the house. With this line of ERVs, these two air streams are directed through a highly developed "air-to-air" energy exchange core. The air streams are physically separated by many layers of "plates" so there is no mixing or contamination of the fresh air. The plates are made of an engineered "resin" material that simultaneously transfers heat by conduction and humidity by attracting and moving water vapor from one air stream to the other.

Rooftop Commercial Applications

S&P USA Ventilation Systems energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) provide a sustainable ventilation solution. The static-plate, crossflow core of these ERVs separates the outgoing, polluted indoor airstream from the incoming fresh airstream while transferring total energy (heat and water vapor) between the two. This prevents the mixing of airstreams and the transfer of pollutants across partition plates. In the winter, the ERVs preheat and humidify the cold, dry outside air using the warm interior air. During the summer, they precool and dehumidify the warm, humid outside air using the air-conditioned interior air.

TRLPe

Total Recovery Low Profile with EC Motor

ecowatt

The Total Recovery series with Electronically Commutated (EC) Motor uses a multi-speed control with an air-to-air energy exchange core to create balanced energy ventilation for residential and light commercial applications. TRLPe’s compact design makes it an ideal solution for residential, mixed-use, and multi-family applications where space is a concern.

TRe

Total Recovery Premium

ecowatt

Total Recovery Premium, TRe, is the latest edition to S&P USA's line of Energy Recovery Ventilators. TRe can be used in any orientation and features an EC motor for great energy efficiency. Utilize TRe for any residential or light commercial project by individually balancing each airstream to account for variations of duct run lengths.

What is ECOWATT? S&P has developed the Ecowatt® standard to classify energy-efficient products that use Electronically Commutated (EC) or Direct Current (DC) motors. Models that fall under this standard have a certified performance through AMCA (Air Movement & Control Association International, Inc.)or HVI (Home Ventilating Institute). If the products designed for residential applications the model must be ENERGY STAR® qualified.
